 AFTER DINNER TALKS OR GROUP TALKS
After many years of teaching groups and seminars, Alison is skilled at amusing, interesting and engaging after dinner speeches or public talks. Recent engagements include the Rutland Women`s Institute, Annual Ladies Lodge Dinner, Alzheimer's Support Group, Round Table dinner, pagan camp and Summer festival. The talk can be scientific, with interesting facts about the Universe and recently discovered phenomena. For instance, did you know that 96% of the Universe is missing? And that there is a hidden dimension that underpins our world and connects your body with an invisible web of 'dark matter'? Or how about the mysterious and enigmatic great stone statues of Easter Island? On a tiny island, 2,000 miles from anywhere in the remote South Pacific a few people carved 800 statues up to 70 feet tall and placed them on enormous stone platforms around the coast of their 13 mile long island, where they stared out to sea. Easter Island had a strange hieroglyphic writing found nowhere else in the world and although gentle, were all killed in a European inspired holocaust.  Alison can reveal the mysteries of this astonishing island. Or it can be light hearted with a humorous look at Sun Signs and hints of how to understand your loved one. It can last for as little as 30 mins or up to 4 hours if you really need it to!
For an after dinner talk, the fee is between £50 - £80 plus mileage at 40p per mile from Tamworth.
