Three photographs taken within an hour, as the Moon was rising above the horizon. The first shows the remainder of the red shadow of Earth during the eclipse. In the second, the deep yellow colour that is often seen whilst the Moon is close to the horizon.
In the last photo, the fading light of the Sun behind me has disappeared, and so the Moon is in a black sky. The reflected solar light is so bright, it removes all the lunar features. Hence we see a silvery Moon.
This eclipse happened as the Sun and Moon opposed each other actually on our horizon in the U.K. Making this an extraordinarily powerful event.
Add that to the G1 class geomagnetic storm that is pounding our atmosphere, courtesy of a large coronal mass ejection from the Sun and this makes for a very tense and emotional environment for us all.
The themes of the Pisces/Virgo axis are health, criticism, service to others, sensitive emotions, loss, indifference to detail or excessive concern for tiny detail to the point that the larger picture cannot be appreciated. Any one, or all of these issues, may have been evident.
