On the 20th January ’26, the Sun broke free of Capricorn’s rigid hold, and sailed into the transpersonal Air Sign of Aquarius. If ever you can sense a sudden change in the environment, then you should get this one. Each Sign seeks to break down the legacy of the previous Sign and Aquarius is sooo waiting for this.
The move from the gloomy, heavy weight of earthy Capricorn to the freedom of airy Aquarius is like leaping out of a cave and off a cliff with a hang glider. Or perhaps how one might feel being released from a jail onto a mountain top. But neither of those two scenarios reflect the sudden need to network.
Aquarius is a group or trans-personal, free-wheeling energy. It needs to communicate and exhilarates in the free exchange of ideas. It rules connectivity, technology, higher concepts and engagement with ideals. But paradoxically, Aquarius also likes the predictability of maths and science. And what do we have in the 21st century that appeals to all this? The world wide web and the internet.
Right now, there is a pile up of planets in the Aquarian section of our sky, giving great focus to this energy. Mercury, the Sun, Vesta, and Venus are all gathered around the early degrees with Pluto, and the Moon and Athena are not far off. A lovely `nod` to the dawning Age of Aquarius!
The star of the show is Pluto, and this Dwarf Planet is on a mission to test out the potential growth of all those areas of our lives ruled by this futuristic Zodiac Sign. In future months and years, the artificial intelligence revolution will come under Pluto’s need to ensure that Life/Nature follows ‘The Rules’ as in…. everything must be born, grow, live a cycle and then die.
Sooo… this week I expect some early, positive signs of Pluto’s attention. Maybe some good news about breakthroughs in I.T. or science. And hopefully not breakdowns and interruptions of our technology. But…. with a large solar proton storm and a severe geomagnetic storm both breaking out around Earth as I write this, the chances of disruption are high!
On a lighter note, look out for the `lift` in energy and mood… whilst rushing out to gaze at the auroras!
